Course information
Utilizing the beautiful rolling path in Kensington Metropark. Aid stations will be at every mile with water and Gatorade Endurance Formula on ice.
Venue information
The Kensington Metro Park is a popular running destination for this area as it is in the heart of a highly populated area but once inside the park and on the paved paths you can forget about all of that. Close to everything it has been the home to the Kensington Marathon running events for 10 years now.
- Don’t forget your park entry fee please have this fee ready to avoid backups entering the state park. Recreation vehicle fee is $10, and $7 for motorcycles
Registration information
Open: 6:30 am, Close 7:45 am. Once you arrive on site follow the signs and flags to the registration start area. Have you id ready and proceed to your group. Do not arrive late, we will not delay the start of an event for late arrivals.

Policies
Kona Running Company follows the same industry standard policy as other event companies nationwide. There are NO REFUNDS and NO TRANSFERS given including an event cancelation due to circumstances out of Kona Running Company’s control including but not limited to: pandemic shut down, health crisis, unsafe course conditions due to construction or weather.
Refunds and Transfers will be granted for Military members who are unable to attend due to their service requirements. or due to the death of a registrant’s family member.

Parking
Parking will be in the parking lots of the Baypoint picnic area.

EVENT Ammenities
Themed Running Events
The theme for this one will be the islands. Dance and run to the beats of drums and smooth sounds with island vibes. Grass skirts area allowed.
5K, 10k, 26.2 , 13.1
Due to time constraints the Double Up for this one will be two loops of the 5k course, so 10k.
Custom Event Medal
This year’s medal will feature the logo with a custom ribbon.
Race Swag
Of course a custom shirt, as well as TBA and the marathon, half marathon athletes will also receive, TBA.
Fun Enviornment
Fun, Festive, island vibes is what this one is all about.
Post-race Snack Table
The focus here will be Hawaiian inspired snacks with your morning brew. Of course Hawaiian shaved ice and more.

Our professionally timed events offer our athletes not only themed, scenic fun but, also considerable challenge with 10k and 15k (Double-up) events with longer distances but with the same great atmosphere.
