This is a closed run course. Heading out from Ford Field onto the paved path over the river and through the woods to U of M and Henry Ford Estate you go; making the turnaround and back to Ford Field. 10k athletes will head back out again, before a great finish over the bridge in the park. It is a fast course with a few tiny rollers. Aid stations will be at every mile with water and Gatorade Endurance Formula on ice.
Ford Field is just two blocks off of Michigan Ave with plenty of space for this event.
Open: 6:00 am, Close 7:45 am. Once you arrive on site follow the signs and flags to the registration area. Have your id ready and proceed to your group. Do not arrive late, we will not delay the start of an event for late arrivals.
Kids Fun Run: $25, Short courses: $45, Long courses: $50,
On site morning of registration please add $10 to above fees.
Kona Running Company follows the same industry standard policy as other event companies nationwide. There are NO REFUNDS and NO TRANSFERS given including an event cancelation due to circumstances out of Kona Running Company’s control including but not limited to: pandemic shut down, health crisis, unsafe course conditions due to construction or weather.
Refunds and Transfers will be granted for Military members who are unable to attend due to their service requirements, or for athletes unable to attend due to the death of a family member.
Super cool finisher medal! Beach, spring break theme, bathing suits optional.
Delicious fresh Dearborn Italian Bakery Subs will be served at the post event party under the tent. Please plan to join us for the awards ceremony following the event. All athletes will show their wrist band for free Dearborn Italian Subs. Friends, family, spectators can enjoy great Subs for a fee.
