Kona Running Events
We at Kona have over 50 years of combined running experience, and we are giving back to the running community. We use our knowledge to create unique
and fun events to expose runners of all ages and abilities to the running community. We strive to be considered second to none in doing so. We’re here to give you the best experience possible while having the most fun. Our goal is
to get the entire family out to enjoy the sport of running together.
The Kona brand was born in 2012, with the idea of creating specific themed running events. Fast forward to 2022, and Kona Running has survived unprecedented conditions and continues to be the leader of the “Fun Run” experience.
We Offer an 800m Kids fun run at every event, 5k’s, 10K’s and Double Up Events. All of our events have a theme and focus on being safe, fun and family friendly. The Kona Team continues the tradition of producing Premium running events throughout the state of Michigan over the past 10 years.
When you arrive at our events, you will immediately notice the unique difference. Each Kona event will have a theme including the aesthetics, amenities, music, food and beverage to coincide. We offer participant swag, themed courses, and a fun race environment that take our races to the next level. If you’ve been to a Kona event before, than you know It’s time to party. Kona Running was started by runners, for everyone, which keeps us motivated to improve every event experience for our participants.
