Utilizing the beautiful rolling path and trails in Kensington Metropark.   Aid stations will be at every mile with water and Gatorade Endurance Formula on ice.  5k and 10k runners / walkers will use the Kensington Metropark ashphalt paved path.  Half marathon and 30k athletes will use varying terrain throughout the park.  30k athletes will complete two loops.   All events Start & Finish at Maple Beach.  https://www.plotaroute.com/route/2690667

The Kensington Metro Park is a popular running destination for this area as it is in the heart of a highly populated area but once inside the park and on the paved paths you can forget about all of that.  Close to everything it has been the home to the Kensington Marathon running events for 10 years now.

• Don’t forget your park entry fee please have this fee ready to avoid backups upon entry to the park proceed to Maple Beach parking lot.

Stony Creek metropark is the setting for this long standing event, formerly known as the Stony Creek marathon.  We have added a fun and festive Oktoberfest theme and changed the date to perfectly place it on the calendar for your final tune-up run before the fall marathon season.  A mostly flat course means it will not beat up the legs before your marathon later in the fall.  This is specifically placed to get a fun long run in before your all important taper begins for your big marathon later in the fall.   Start and Finish will be at the Baypoint Beach Tent

Thousands of runners have come to Maybury State Park to train for a reason. There’s a great 8-foot-wide paved path that runs through a thick canopy of trees. The course is a bit deceiving with its slight upgrade to the turnaround then a slight downhill back to the finish line.  You get to see everyone as it takes on the shape of an upside-down lollipop, and the out and back section is where it gets fun.  You never know who or what lurks in the shadows and the trees of the park that is the former home of an asylum!   Aid stations will be at every mile with water and Gatorade Endurance Formula on ice.

Maybury state park is one of the benefactors of Covid as a relatively unknown park seeing 200,000 visitors a year that number tripled the last two years. Now it has become a training mecca. The surrounding city of Northville and Novi is home to dozens of great restaurants, shopping and bars.  We are limited to 650 athletes in this event due to parking capacity.

Another rolling Kona course.  Starting out with a flat 400m and then into the rolling beautiful residential area behind the school.  Wide roads rolling through the subdivision as you can view in the interactive course map.   As you exit the subdivision it is flat and fast all the way back to and in Millenium park where you will veer right towards the ball fields, Double Up and 10k will simply continue down the sidewalk past the high school and back into the subdivision for lap 2 and 3.  NOTE: 10k/15k double up because of this your distance will be a tenth short as you are not crossing 6 mile and going back into Millenium park on each lap.   Aid stations at miles 1,2 and 3 with water and Gatorade Endurance Formula and Gator Gel.  Click here for course map 

The beautiful Northville Michigan’s Millenium park hosts this year’s chocolate  extravaganza.  A venue with parking, enough space to accommodate any number of athletes at the start and finish.   Kids Fun Run will be safe and secure.
